Chief Ministers of Telangana (2014 – 2025)

1. K. Chandrashekar Rao (2014–2018, 2018–2023)

The first Chief Minister of Telangana, sworn in on 2 June 2014, the day the state was officially formed.
Popularly known as KCR, he led the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (later renamed Bharat Rashtra Samithi) to power.
Focused on welfare schemes like Rythu Bandhu (farmer support), Mission Bhagiratha (drinking water), and Mission Kakatiya (tank restoration).
Served two consecutive terms and played a pivotal role in shaping Telangana’s identity and governance.

2. Anumula Revanth Reddy (2023–Present)

Took office on 7 December 2023 after the Congress won the state elections.
Known as a dynamic leader and strong orator, he previously served as TPCC (Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee) President.
His government has emphasized farmer welfare, employment generation, and social schemes.
He represents the Kodangal constituency and is the first Congress Chief Minister of Telangana.
