The Department of Commerce, JAIN College, V.V. Puram, organised an industrial visit for its students to MAS Furniture, Mysuru, providing them with valuable exposure to the furniture manufacturing industry.
During the visit, students gained a comprehensive understanding of the bulk furniture manufacturing process, from production planning to the final stages of manufacturing. A key highlight of the visit was an interactive session with the company's owner, a proud alumnus of the JAIN Group of Institutions, who shared his entrepreneurial journey and offered insights into building and managing a successful manufacturing enterprise.
The visit enabled students to connect classroom concepts with real-world industrial practices while inspiring them to explore entrepreneurship as a potential career path.
