Financial Literacy, seminar by the Department of Commerce

"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest". On 9 December 2022 Jain College(VV Puram), Department of Commerce, conducted a Financial Literacy program for II PUC Commerce students.

This program was held to enrich the knowledge of students and inspire them to step into the world of stock market. The speaker for this program was Kishore B.S. Sir. He is the Co-Founder of Disruptive Education Services and Entrepreneurship Garage. He is also the CEO and Co-Founder of the Stock Market Institute which conducts value-added programmes for institutions.

Kishore Sir is highly eloquent. He used various references and related the stock market to everyday aspects of life. He spoke about different methods of research such as Fundamental, Technical and Industrial Analysis. He portrayed it as a simple concept, disproving myths surrounding the Stock Market.
