List of Deputy Chief Ministers of Telangana

1. Sri T. Rajaiah (BRS – Ghanpur (Station))

Served as the first Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, beginning on 2 June 2014.
Held the Health portfolio alongside the DCM post.
His tenure ended on 25 January 2015, following his removal due to controversies surrounding his department.

2. Sri M. Mahmood Ali (BRS – MLC)

Alongside Rajaiah, also appointed as Deputy CM on 2 June 2014, holding charge of Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, ULC, Stamps & Registration.
Continued in this DCM role until 12 December 2018

3. Sri Kadiyam Srihari (BRS, later INC)

Took over as Deputy CM on 25 January 2015, after Rajaiah's dismissal.
Remained in office until 12 December 2018.
Originally in BRS; he joined INC on 31 March 2024.

Vacancy: 13 December 2018 – 6 December 2023

The position of Deputy Chief Minister remained vacant during this period.

4. Sri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka (INC – Madhira)

Appointed Deputy CM on 7 December 2023, under Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy.
Also serves as the Minister for Finance, Planning, and Energy
Known for being a Dalit leader and instrumental figure in the Congress resurgence in Telangan
Actively involved in welfare schemes: distributing ₹1.05 crore to women’s groups, promoting solar power initiatives, and introducing large-scale financial schemes for empowerment.
Faced a legal challenge from a 2021 rally FIR, which was quashed by the Telangana High Court in August 2025.
