1. Hari Shankar Bhabhra (1990–1992)

Hari Shankar Bhabhra was the first Deputy CM of Rajasthan, serving alongside CM Bhairon Singh Shekhawat. A senior BJP leader, he represented the party during its early rise in the state. His role was largely supportive, balancing governance with coalition politics.

2. Kamla Beniwal (2003–2008)

Kamla Beniwal became Deputy CM under Ashok Gehlot’s Congress government. She was one of the senior-most women leaders in Rajasthan politics. Later, she went on to serve as Governor of Gujarat and other states. Her leadership highlighted women’s representation in top roles.

3. Sachin Pilot (2018–2020)

Sachin Pilot, a young Congress leader, was appointed Deputy CM under Ashok Gehlot’s third term. He was considered the face of the youth and modern politics in Rajasthan. However, political rivalry with Gehlot led to his removal in 2020. Despite this, he remains a key player in state politics.

4. Diya Kumari (2023–Present)

Princess Diya Kumari of Jaipur, from the BJP, became Deputy CM in 2023. A member of the royal family, she represents both heritage and modern leadership. She has been vocal about women's empowerment and cultural preservation. She shares the role with Prem Chand Bairwa.

5. Prem Chand Bairwa (2023–Present)

Prem Chand Bairwa, also from BJP, took office as Deputy CM alongside Diya Kumari in 2023. He comes from a grassroots background; he represents marginalised communities. His appointment reflects the BJP’s focus on social inclusion and balance in leadership.
