The Green Line of Namma Metro now stretches from Madavara in the north to Silk Institute in the south, covering approximately 33.5 km with 32 operational stations. The extension from Nagasandra to Madavara, opened in December 2023, added 3 new stations, improving access to residential suburbs, industrial areas, and the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).This makes it one of Bangalore’s most significant north–south transit corridors, threading through diverse residential, industrial, and commercial areas.
