Blue Line Metro Stations in Bangalore

The Blue Line of Namma Metro, also known as the ORR–Airport Line,  It will stretch over 58.19 km and include 30 stations,making it one of the longest and most important metro routes in Bengaluru. Once completed, it will run from Central Silk Board in the south to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA Terminal) in the north, passing through the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and major tech hubs like Bellandur, Marathahalli, KR Puram, Hebbal, and Yelahanka.

The Blue Line is being developed in two parts:

  • Phase 2A: Covers the Outer Ring Road (ORR) stretch from Central Silk Board to KR Puram, passing through tech hubs like HSR Layout, Bellandur, and Marathahalli.

  • Phase 2B: Extends from KR Puram to Kempegowda International Airport, connecting key zones like Nagawara, Hebbal, Yelahanka, and Airport City.

 Blue Line Metro Highlights

  • Total Length: ~58.19 km

    • Phase 2A (Silk Board to KR Puram): ~19.75 km

    • Phase 2B (KR Puram to KIA): ~38.44 km

  • Total Stations: 30

  • Start Point: Central Silk Board

  • End Point: Kempegowda International Airport (Terminal 2)

  • Expected Completion: 2026–2027

  • Line Type: Mostly elevated, with underground section near airport

  • Purpose: Connects tech parks, ORR, residential areas, and the airport

    • One of the busiest junctions in Bengaluru

  2. KR Puram

    •  Interchange with Purple Line

    • Nearby KR Puram Railway Station

  3. Hebbal (planned)

    •  Proposed interchange with Green Line and suburban rail

  4. Nagawara

    •  Interchange with Pink Line (under construction)

  2. HSR Layout
    Serves HSR Sectors 1–3 and nearby residential and commercial areas

  3. Agara
    Near Agara Lake and junction; connects Koramangala and HSR 4th/6th Sector

  4. Ibbalur
    Close to Sarjapur Road, army quarters, and ORR tech zones

  5. Bellandur
    Serves RMZ Ecospace, EcoWorld, and Bellandur tech corridor

  6. Kadubeesanahalli
    Covers Prestige Tech Park, Cisco campus, and tech parks on ORR

  7. Kodibeesanahalli
    Near New Horizon College and several apartment complexes

  8. Marathahalli
    Key commercial and transport junction near the flyover

    Near outer ring road flyover and commercial complexes

    Residential zone with schools, clinics, and small businesses

  6. Nagawara
      Interchange with Pink Line; close to Manyata Tech Park

  7. Veerannapalya
    Residential area; connects Arabic College and Nagawara surroundings
