In the bustling city of Bangalore, a true visionary Dr. Chenraj Roychand laid the foundation for something truly remarkable. With just 6 teachers and 36 eager students, he established Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer JAIN College, the very first brick in the magnificent JAIN Group reputation.
JAIN College introduced the first evening college in Bangalore under its banner, known as Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer JAIN Evening College. This innovative initiative offered students and working professionals a distinct opportunity to pursue their educational aspirations, nurture their interests, and advance their careers outside of regular work hours.
JAIN College had the privilege to host one of India's most inspiring and beloved leaders, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam’s visit made an indelible mark on everyone, inspiring countless students to pursue their passion with extreme rigour and dedication. His legacy still lives on as a shining example of leadership, vision, and service to the nation.
JAIN College made history when it inaugurated its third campus in the heart of Bangalore city, Jayanagar. From PU to UG and PG programmes the campus provides a wide array of educational opportunities. This milestone at JAIN College marked a new era of academic excellence and innovation making it one of the Best Pre University Colleges in Bangalore.
Veena S Reddy, a student at JAIN College, sets new records, securing the top position in Commerce (ABMS) at the state level. Her exceptional performance showcases JAIN College's commitment to delivering top-notch education and guidance, enabling students to reach their full potential.
Jain College's NCC programme, since 2016, has trained and enrolled 200+ cadets, with 175 achieving B certification and 100 earning C certification. Notably, 32 cadets serve in the armed forces and 11 have been commissioned as officers while receiving 19 awards and participating in the Republic Day Parade.
JAIN College took a proactive step in safeguarding the health and well-being of the JAIN community by organising a Covid-19 vaccination drive. The college in collaboration with Manipal Hospitals, ensured all safety protocols and providing easy and convenient access to vaccination the drive was a resounding success.
JAIN College broke the mould in 2022 with the introduction of our Humanities programmes aimed at preparing youngsters for a bold new future of study and work. The programmes challenged traditional notions of humanities education by integrating cutting-edge technology and innovative teaching methods, making the course one of a kind.
