The Elite Club caters to the needs of the students by giving equal importance to extra-curricular activities. With a range of activities, the club meets the communication needs of the students. The events include competitions, guest lectures and activities such as Debate, Creative Writing, Word Games and Play held round the year. The literary activities of the club enable the students to flourish in both verbal and non-verbal pattern of communications.
The Kannada Vedike of Jain College conducts intra-collegiate literary cultural fest to create awareness among students about the Kannada language, rich culture of Karnataka, its history and heritage. Kannada patriotism will be displayed in high spirit during the fest as students will come together and perform cultural programs thus promoting Kannada literature and culture.
To create a deep awareness and interest towards Hindi language, Hindi Parishad encourages its students to conduct and participate in various literary activities. Hindi Parishad forms a team of enthusiastic members who are blended with influence of creative culture. The various activities conducted are Guru Purnima, Guest Lecture, Teachers’ Day, and Hindi Diwas etc. Through this platform, students are also motivated to participate in inter-collegiate competitions, and they have made proud by bringing laurels to the college.
The Samskrita Sangha strives hard to cater to the literary inquisitiveness of the students. It tries to develop the aesthetic sense of the young minds, language skills and dramatic skills. The main objective of the department is to imbibe moral and cultural values. With these intentions various guest lectures and seminars, inter-class and inter-collegiate literary competitions such as Samskrita Samhashnam, Valmiki Jayanti, and Geetha Jayanti etc. are conducted for the students.
The Cultural Forum is the driving force behind organizing all the cultural fests of the College. The forum provides an imposing platform for individuals to showcase their talent in the events conducted by other colleges and institutions.
The Commerce Forum is an integrated part of Commerce Department. The forum gives an opportunity to each and every student to become young professionals and develop in them a feeling of team spirit. The qualities of a true leader is to set standards for others to follow, and the forum has been instrumental in bringing out the hidden talent and abilities of each and every student and help them to adjust paradigm shift.
Science Forum believes in bringing out creative expression of scientific temper in an individual; making science as an extremely interesting subject. The forum conducts various inter-class and inter-collegiate activities under the guidance of coordinators and the members.
The Eco Club of Jain College plays a vital role in creating environmental awareness amongst the students. The club enables the Jain College students to be sensitive towards environmental concern to tackle its problems.
The motto of NSS’s "Not Me But You" reflects the essence of democratic living and to uphold the need for self-less service. NSS helps students to develop appreciation for another person's point of view and also shows consideration towards other living beings. The College encourages students to volunteer and be a part of this social wing.
